The original Amazfit Balance brings sports training, recovery tracking and everyday smartwatch functions together in a slim 46 mm design. Its 1.5-inch AMOLED display offers a sharp 480 × 480 resolution, while the aluminium-alloy frame weighs approximately 35 g without the strap. Dual-band GPS works with six satellite positioning systems to record outdoor routes, and downloaded offline maps help when following a course without a live phone connection.
Balance provides 156 sports modes, training insights through Zepp Coach and a daily Readiness score informed by tracked sleep and recovery data. The BioTracker 5.0 sensor monitors metrics such as heart rate and blood-oxygen levels, and a wrist-based bioelectrical impedance (BIA) feature estimates body composition. These are fitness and wellbeing indicators, not clinical measurements. Bluetooth calling is supported through the built-in microphone and speaker, and the Zepp app offers workout history, watch settings and compatible app integrations.
Battery life reaches up to 14 days with typical use, seven days under heavier use or approximately five days with the always-on display enabled. Magnetic charging takes around two hours. The 5 ATM water-resistance rating supports swimming and everyday splashes, but not diving or high-temperature exposure. The original Balance has around 2.2 GB of available music storage, not the 26 GB claimed in the previous product listing. Zepp Pay, voice assistants and some enhanced insights vary by country, bank, app version or optional subscription.
