Key Benefits
- Three-by-seven Shimano Tourney gears give more climbing and cruising options than the Venture 1.0
- 6061 alloy trekking crossbar frame combines everyday practicality with relaxed fit
- Factory-fitted chromoplastic mudguards help manage spray on wet roads
- Steel rear pannier rack provides a useful platform for compatible luggage
- Reflective-sidewall trekking tyres, ergonomic grips and V-brakes suit regular local journeys
The Dawes Venture 2.0 EQ is a comfortably upright, practical hybrid bicycle designed for commuting, errands and longer leisure routes. Its aluminium trekking crossbar frame, swept-back bars and ergonomic grips make daily riding approachable, while 700c wheels and 35C trekking tyres roll efficiently on roads, cycle paths and well-kept tracks.
Compared with the six-speed Venture 1.0, the 2.0 EQ adds a Shimano Tourney three-by-seven drivetrain with 21 gear combinations to better accommodate changes in gradient. It also comes with chromoplastic mudguards and a steel rear pannier rack, making it a useful starting point for everyday transport. Alloy V-brakes provide straightforward stopping control; integrated lights are not listed in Dawes' standard specification.
