Sizing & Fit

North Sports lists Medium 17-inch and Large 19-inch sizes with 27.5-inch wheels. The Claud Butler Ridge sizing guidance is approximately 162–178cm (5ft 4in–5ft 10in) for Medium and 178–188cm (5ft 10in–6ft 2in) for Large.

Frame-height guidance is approximate. Check inside leg, standover, handlebar reach and confident access to the brake levers. Contact North Sports if you are between sizes.

Delivery & Assembly

The current North Sports listing shows an expected 4–6-week delivery estimate; this is not a confirmed despatch date. Supplier availability must be checked before an order is promised. For electric bikes fulfilled through Tandem Group Cycles’ direct e-bike service, the supplier assembles and checks the bike in its workshop before securely reboxing it for courier delivery. Minor final adjustments may still be required after delivery. Check all key controls, brakes, wheels and battery fitment before riding, and consult a competent bicycle mechanic if you are unsure.

Key Benefits
  • Bafang rear-hub system provides up to 45Nm of pedal-assist torque
  • Removable 375Wh battery has a claimed maximum of 40 miles / 64km
  • Shimano CUES 1 × 9 drivetrain uses an 11–46T wide-range cassette
  • Shimano MT200 hydraulic discs add control with 180mm front and 160mm rear rotors
  • 120mm lockout suspension and 27.5 × 2.35-inch tyres help on mixed surfaces

The Claud Butler Ridge 2.0 builds on the Ridge 1.0 with stronger assistance, more versatile gearing and hydraulic braking. Its Bafang rear-hub motor provides 45Nm of torque, working with a removable 375Wh battery and a clear colour display with handlebar controls. It is intended to make local hills, gravel tracks and longer leisure routes easier to manage.

The aluminium hardtail frame carries a 120mm lockout suspension fork, 27.5-inch wheels and 2.35-inch tyres. Shimano CUES 1 × 9 shifting with an 11–46T cassette provides useful climbing ratios, while Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes improve modulation in changing conditions. It is the more equipped Ridge choice for riders who plan to ride regularly.
