The Cateye Padrone Stealth is a simple wireless cycle computer with a large inverted LCD for clear speed, distance and ride-time readings. It builds on the regular Padrone design with a dark-background display and a supplied OF-100 out-front bracket, positioning the computer ahead of the handlebars for a tidy, easy-to-view cockpit.
The patented ClickTec interface allows you to move between readings by pressing the computer face. It shows current, average and maximum speed, trip and total distance, moving time, a clock and a stopwatch. Auto start/stop handles ride timing, while the programmable odometer lets you enter an existing total distance during setup. The low-battery indicator helps you know when to replace the cells.
The Padrone Stealth uses a dedicated analogue wireless wheel-speed sensor, so it does not require GPS or a smartphone app. The head unit and sensor each run on a replaceable CR2032 battery. The light 31.5 g computer is IPX8 water-resistant to the manufacturer’s specification. Correct installation of the speed sensor and wheel-circumference setting are important for accurate ride data.
