Falcon recommends 5ft 4in–6ft 2in (162–188cm) for the Liberty Crossbar’s single medium/large frame. Measure inside leg and verify safe standover clearance across the top tube. Also check saddle height, reach to the adjustable stem and comfortable brake access; a stated height range cannot guarantee an individual fit.

For direct delivery, Tandem Group Cycles states that its electric bikes are assembled and checked by its workshop team, then protected and re-boxed for transport. Some final set-up is still needed after delivery: remove packaging, align and secure the handlebars, fit the remaining pedal if applicable, set the saddle height, tighten any bolts adjusted during unpacking and check that the bike operates safely. Charge and care for the battery in accordance with its manual. If you are not confident making these adjustments or checks, arrange assistance from a competent bicycle mechanic before riding.

We choose the Liberty Crossbar for riders who prefer a traditional frame and want an electric hybrid already equipped for useful transport. The Motinova system, easily removable battery, adjustable cockpit and fitted rack and guards help it work as a realistic replacement for shorter car journeys.

What is the difference between the Liberty Crossbar and Low-Step?

The Crossbar has a traditional higher top tube and is recommended for riders 162–188cm tall. The Low-Step has easier frame access and a 152–178cm height guide.

Are the mudguards and rear rack already fitted?

They are listed as included equipment by Falcon, although minor delivery adjustments and safety checks still apply.

How long does the battery take to charge?

The manufacturer states approximately five hours for the removable 368Wh battery.

Is it suitable for commuting?

Yes. Its 700c hybrid tyres, seven gears, fitted mudguards and rear rack make it suitable for ordinary roads and maintained cycle routes.
