The Cateye AMPP 900 is a powerful 900-lumen rechargeable front bike light designed for riders who regularly cycle in darkness. Its OptiCube lens shapes a wide beam for seeing the road ahead, while enhanced side visibility helps the bicycle stand out to approaching traffic. The robust aluminium body suits demanding commuting and recreational use.
Five modes let you balance brightness with battery life: High, Middle, Low, Daytime HyperConstant and Flashing. The three-colour battery indicator gives a quick view of remaining charge, and mode memory restores your previous selection. A double press of the power button provides immediate access to High output.
A USB-C rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the unit, and the included FlexTight bracket fixes it to compatible handlebars. Manufacturer figures range from approximately 2 hours at 900 lumens to 35 hours in Flashing mode, with a full recharge taking roughly 4–8 hours depending on charging current.
