The Dawes Scenic Low-Step Hybrid Bike is designed for riders who want an easy, comfortable and practical electric bike for commuting, leisure rides and everyday journeys. Built around a 6061 aluminium low-step frame, the Scenic makes mounting and dismounting simple, while its upright riding position gives a relaxed and confidence-inspiring feel on city streets, cycle paths, towpaths and scenic weekend routes.
Powered by a Bafang rear hub motor with 32Nm of torque, the Dawes Scenic provides smooth electric assistance to help with hills, headwinds and longer rides. The integrated 375Wh removable battery delivers up to 40 miles / 64km of range and can be charged either on or off the bike in around 5 hours. A handlebar-mounted LCD display lets you select from 5 power modes, monitor speed and battery level, while walk assist helps when pushing the bike up steeper sections.
Built for everyday practicality, the Scenic comes equipped with Shimano Altus 1x7-speed gearing, mechanical disc brakes, puncture-resistant Innova Roadrunner 700 x 45c tyres, ergonomic lock-on grips and a comfortable Selle Royal Freeway saddle. Full-length mudguards, a rear pannier rack and kickstand make it ready for all-weather commuting, shopping trips and daily transport, while the low-step frame and 700c wheels help deliver a smooth, accessible ride.
